Our Spinal Cord Injury Program provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic services to patients who have suffered such injuries, all customized to meet a patient’s individual needs and goals.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Sage Rehabilitation Outpatient/Day Neuro Program offers comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation for people recovering from traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries.

Outpatient therapy allows patients to continue to participate in intensive rehabilitation while living at home, problem-solve issues encountered in the real world, and immediately practice and apply skills learned during therapy in their home and community.

OUR PATIENTS

We serve patients with all levels and types of spinal cord injury, including paraplegia, quadriplegia, spinal cord tumors, transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, multiple sclerosis, myelopathies, spinal cord infarctions and aneurysms.

Physical Therapy

Focus is to maximize functional independence and mobility.

Designs and implements therapeutic programs that develop the strength, flexibility and gross motor skills to perform functional mobility.

Occupational Therapy

Focus is to identify personal goals related to function/activities of daily living and maximize independence in daily life.

Provides special expertise in building therapeutic daily routines and in adapting activities to help patients participate in their life roles.

Speech Therapy

Focus is to facilitate growth of cognition, communication, breath support, and swallowing.

Social Work/Counseling Services

Focus is to provide emotional support, improve physical/mental/emotional functioning, and facilitate successful community re-entry.

PROGRAM CERTIFIED STAFF
