Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy is a health care profession that provides services to an individual to address communication including: speech, language, and non-verbal communication, swallowing problems that occur in the oral and pharyngeal stages, and cognitive deficits.  Depending on the client’s diagnosis and the severity of the diagnosis, common treatments offered by Speech Therapy range from strengthening exercises, instructive or repetitive practice and drilling, the use of  aids for audio and visual communication and vital- stim.

Our Speech Therapy staff offers an abundance of training with patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing challenges.  Our therapists have certification in Vital – Stim, for the treatment of those with dysfunction of swallowing muscles.
